Filming at the Park

On December 5th, my group and I were all available to film our music video. I had tried to get a date we were all available earlier than that, such as on December 1st, but my parents were away at the time. Also, the location we were filming at was on my street and at the park down the street from me. Since my parents weren't home, they didn't allow us to film that day. The rest of my group had different things to do all the other days, so the 5th was the day we could film. I got the boys to meet up at my house and we started to film. We first started out by listening to our song a couple times so we could get in the right mindset. I then had an idea where I could do a cool POV shot of riding my skateboard and have me ride by the camera as a couple short shots. At the beginning of the song, the rapper repeats the same verse twice, so I recorded 2 of my groupmates saying that line so we could put it together to go with the song. Then I got my dad to record us walking down the middle of the street away from the camera as just a random little clip. I took my group down my street to a little park and as soon as we got there, our minds started rushing with ideas on what we could do. There was a basketball hoop there, so I rode my bike back to my house and got the basketball. I brought it back to my group and got a low angle shot of Fahim dunking the ball. Then I got the 3 of them to go on the swings so we could have more random shots, while they were mouthing the lyrics. This took so many tries but I finally got the right one. Next Monzur had the idea to swing and jump off the swing to then rapping a line. At first, I was recording with the other 3 on the swings, but Juan was just not understanding the words to rap when he jumps off the swing, so I took his place. There was this metal structure that I had the group sit on to bounce their heads to that makes them look like they're grooving to the music. There was a random chair that was detached from the arms, so there was just the seat and I got Fahim to sit in just the bucket part. I got a high angle from on top of a picnic table while Fahim was in the chair on the ground and we got a shot of him acting like he was using a steering wheel.
