Filming at Park & Baseball Field

My group and I met up again on 12/7/21 to continue filming. The last thing we filmed was Fahim acting like he was using a steering wheel. Next we got Juan to jump out of a tree and do a parkour roll so he wouldn't hurt himself. Next I was in a couple scenes that went with the lyrics of the song. I had Fahim and Juan lip singing as well to the next verse. By this time, it was getting dark out, so we decided to pack up and end filming for the day. This time, on 12/7, we were filming near Juan's house at a baseball field. Monzur had something after-school, so we met a little later in the day around the time the sun was setting, so we had about 45 minutes to film. I didn't know what to film, but I saw a bench in the field with nice sunset lighting. I had Monzur and Fahim go sit on it with their arms on each other's shoulders while swaying back and forth. After that we kind of got distracted and started doing flips in the field. I first started off by doing a front flip on the ground and didn't land them. I then had Fahim record me doing a flip off of a bench so we could have a cool action shot of that and actually land the flip. Juan ended up doing a flip off the bench as well. I realized it wouldn't make sense if in the video we just appeared at the baseball field without a mention of it, so we recorded ourselves on the street, did a group jump, then we did the same thing in the field, and later would combine the two scenes to show a transition into the field. In the song, there is a verse where they mention people being arrested, so I did an over the shoulder shot of me walking Monzur over to Juan and Fahim who where on the ground with their hands behind their backs simulating they were arrested. Right after I finished recording that scene, a security guard came and told us we couldn't be on the field, so we left. By this time, we had enough scenes to make the music video with enough time in it. The sun was almost down anyway, so it all worked out with what we got recorded. On my bike ride back home from Juan's house, I was coming over a bridge where the sunset looked really nice, so I recorded a little bit of it to add into the video.

 Hi, my name is Keith and I chose this class because I have had many friends take it and I've heard great things about it. They were raving on how fun it is creating films and learning how to do different tricks in their filming. I also need a couple more Cambridge credits to get my diploma, so I thought I would try this out because of this class's great reviews. I expect to learn how to edit my videos to do all sorts of cool things such as cross cutting, shot/reverse shot, jump cuts, and many more interesting techniques. My goals are to be able to learn these techniques and create some really cool pieces of work. I want to keep these skills with me when I'm older because I think it is useful to know how to film.
