My Group
Hi, my name is Keith and I chose this class because I have had many friends take it and I've heard great things about it. They were raving on how fun it is creating films and learning how to do different tricks in their filming. I also need a couple more Cambridge credits to get my diploma, so I thought I would try this out because of this class's great reviews. I expect to learn how to edit my videos to do all sorts of cool things such as cross cutting, shot/reverse shot, jump cuts, and many more interesting techniques. My goals are to be able to learn these techniques and create some really cool pieces of work. I want to keep these skills with me when I'm older because I think it is useful to know how to film. You never know where like can take you and who knows, I could end up becoming a film director. For the music commercial, I chose to work with my buddies Monzur, Juan, and Fahim. I've known Monzur since 7th grade nd have been best friends since. Juan and I go back to elementary together. Fahim I got to know each other last year over online school, but have physically met this year. Him and I have clicked since we met and we work well in our physics class, so I think that is a good choice. I decided to go with this group rather than my same partner as the commercial project because I feel I will work better with them. My last partner is sorta hard to get ahold of and is unreliable at times. We did great at school for our last project, but that was when we were able to film at school. He is usually not at his house when school is over and I feel like that could be a problem for filming. I was in his group to begin with for this music project, but he was clueless and I don't want him bringing me down. This new group I decided to work with is a lot more communicative and on top of it when it comes to school. It is a harder working group that I feel would have more ideas and participate better. Its a little awkward to tell my friend of so many years that I don't want to work with him, but overall, I would do better academically with the new group I'm going in to
