Props:
Since my group decided we were going to do a commercial on Easton, our main prop will be an Easton baseball bat. Other props will include baseballs and possibly a batters helmet. Depends on whether the actor looks better with one or without one.
Costumes:
In our commercial, we will have one group member as the subject. Our actor will wear full baseball gear. This includes the white athletic pants and a jersey. They will also wear cleats. Since baseball players wear hats, we want to give the full experience. This will also help keep the sun out of their eyes as they bat in the video.
Schedule:
On 9/23/21, our group researched conventions and codes of Easton sport commercials
On 9/23/21, our group established the props, costumes, schedule, location list, and back up plan
On 9/27/21, our group will create the storyboard for the 30 second commercial
On 9/29/21, our group will film and record the shots
On 10/1/21. our group will edit and add the final touches to the commercial
Location List:
Our main location will be the baseball field. At the baseball field, we will record our actor standing with the bat and hitting balls with the bat. This will show that the bat hits well and has a crisp sound. We will also film our actor in the dugout preparing to bat next. We could also have the actor walking to the plate. In the next shot we could have a high angle shot on the actor tapping the plate with the bat, with dust blowing off it.
Backup Plan:
If the weather isn't good or there are people who need to film on the baseball field, we will go to the softball field. The softball field has the same field as the baseball field, except its a little smaller. Here, we will do the same as on the baseball field. This includes the hitter in the dugout with the bat, walking with the bat, hitting, etc.
