Music Video Plan

Props:

My group and I will use any jewelry we have, stacks of cash (if we can get that), a bicycle, hats, and random people who agree to be apart of the crowd dancing.

Costumes:

In our music video, some will be wearing hoodies, while others will be wearing regular t-shirts. This will be anything as in other pop-rap music videos, their attire is anything they want it to be.

Schedule:

On 11/12/21, our group researched conventions and codes of pop-rap music videos.

On 11/16/21, our group established the props, costumes, schedule, location list, and backup plan

On 11/19/21, our group will create the storyboard for the 1 minute 10-15 second music video

On 11/21/21, our group will film and record the necessary shots for our commercial

On 11/22/21, our group will edit and add the final touches to the commercial

Location List:

Our main location will be the park, but we will be all over the place with locations. Other locations will include a roundabout, Juan's complex, some houses in Bayview area.

Backup Plan:

Our backup plan will just be to record in whatever kind of weather there is. If it starts to rain, it would add a cool effect to the video. We would go to Keith's house and record some parts there, or in front of Monzur's house

Different Genres: Thriller

Thriller is a genre of film that is intended to scare with suspense Common camera angles, shots, and movements in a thriller: 1. Establishing shot- sets an eerie mood. 2. Tracking shot- can show someone being followed. 3. Close up- used to show the reactions of the characters and to build suspense 4. Tilt- can signify a supernatural being entering the screen 5. Over the shoulder- builds tension, can sometimes signify someone standing behind a person. Mis en scene in thriller movies: Costumes- usually regular clothes, could be farm clothes, its really based off of setting Lighting- dark, eerie lighting to not show it is bright and cheerful Actors- actors usually vary but the most common thing they do is scream and fight. Camera Angles High Angle- Make someone look powerless Close up shots-Used to show a characters reactions, and how they are feeling Establishing shot- sets an eerie mood.
